The unveiling of PDOHub™ HK marks the activation of a centre built to accelerate translational impact across oncology and infectious diseases. As our Chief Operating Officer, Benson To, shared at the launch, “this marks only the beginning and PDOHub has three clear priorities.”

1. Precision Oncology — Supporting cancer patients through BiomOrgan’s Tumour Organoid Drug Sensitivity Testing, to provide clinicians with additional insight that can help to guide treatment decisions.

2. Pandemic Preparedness — Co‑developing, with CVVT and MGI, an automated system for rapid evaluation of antiviral drugs and vaccines.

3. Regional Leadership — Positioning PDOHub™ HK as the leading organoid‑driven precision medicine centre in the Asia‑Pacific.

By integrating organoid platforms, intelligent automation, and high‑throughput sequencing, PDOHub strengthens Hong Kong’s preparedness for future health challenges and opens new pathways for collaboration across the GBA and Asia‑Pacific.

This launch represents more than a facility — it is a catalyst for advancing science into patient‑centred solutions.
