We were honoured to participate in the Asia Summit on Global Health (ASGH) 2026, hosted by the HKSAR Government and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC). As Asia’s leading platform for health innovation and investment, ASGH provided an important opportunity to showcase PDOHub’s organoid‑based precision medicine platforms to global partners, clinicians, investors, and research leaders.
A highlight of the event was the visit of Professor Lo Chung‑mau, Secretary for Health, to our booth. Our COO, Benson To, introduced PDOHub™ HK, Asia’s first integrated organoid‑based precision medicine centre, and shared our vision for advancing organoid‑driven healthcare across the region. Professor Lo’s recognition reflects the growing momentum of Hong Kong’s biotech ecosystem and the innovation emerging from our community.
During the summit, we presented three core pillars of our work:
1. Tumour Organoids for drug‑sensitivity testing in precision oncology
2. Respiratory Organoids supporting pandemic preparedness and antiviral research
3. Regional leadership as Asia’s first integrated organoid‑based precision medicine centre
We are grateful to HKU TEC | iDendron for supporting our participation, and to CVVT – Centre for Virology, Vaccinology and Therapeutics for their continued support in our development.
ASGH 2026 offered meaningful conversations, new collaborations, and a renewed sense of purpose. We look forward to scaling impact and advancing organoid‑driven precision medicine across Asia.
